This dough can be used in a variety of recipes. It can be prepared at camp or prepared ahead of time and frozen. .


16 cm Baking Pans

  • ⅔ C. warm water

  • 4 tsp. Sugar

  • 1 tsp. Yeast

  • 2 tsp. Oil

  • ¾ tsp. Salt

  • 2 C. Flour


14 cm Baking Pans

  • ½ C. Warm Water

  • 1 tbsp. Sugar

  • ¾ tsp. Yeast

  • 1 ½ tsp. Oil

  • ½ tsp. Salt

  • 1 ½ C. Flour


1. Add the water, sugar, yeast and oil together. (Make sure the water is quite warm, but not too hot to touch.)
2. Let the mixture rest until the yeast gets frothy, around 10 min.
3. Add salt and then the flour. Mix for 1-2 min.
4. Empty bowl on to clean surface and knead for 5-10 min. until the dough is smooth and springy.
